- Up to now no concept is found to easily use the correct set of libraries
depending on the host architecture and operating system. However, this should
be a general rule to be available for all the hades libraries.
+- The psql-library did not follow the developments of the version 0.2 at all.
+ It is likely that this tree will be canceled completely in the next version.
+- In excange, ideas have come up to replace the EPICS-based parameter
+ transport via channel access by some smal-shaped self programmed one based
+ of RPCs and meeting the requirements of the param libraries much better at
+ all. If there is time enough a new tree rpc will be introduced in the next
+ version.

libpsqlParam.a
==============
4. Known bugs and further developement perspectives
---------------------------------------------------
- As a testing object for independent database connections, libpsqlParam.a is
-not rcommended for use at normal runtime. Anyway, if developing database
-concepts on another machine with a tiny free database is wanted, libpsqlParam.a
-can be a good choice together with some changes to the source code. So if you
-are interested in libpsqlParam.a:
+ As the little database containing all the test values unfortunately
+disappeared, the improvements of the library package are not put into the
+psql-tree at all. It is not clear whether this tree will disappear completely
+in the next version or updated together with a new version of the database.
+So at the end it is strongly recommended not to rely on this part being
+developed anymore at all.
