New arrival: Trb3sc - the single-FPGA, crate-compatible brother of TRB3. Main applications:
- very small setups, e.g. 48-channel TDC
- organized, neat setups in a crate: a 3U crate can house 10 TRB3sc including AddOns
- variable bandwidth setups: configurable with one GbE link per FPGA or one per crate.
Fully compatible to TRB3, its AddOns and software suites.
For all your external clocking needs: A small clock generator with either one or three channels output. All outputs can be connected directly to a TRB or another fan-out board.
The distributor board is used to provide clock and / or trigger signals to 8 TRBs. Several of the boards can be chained for a higher fan-out ratio.
If the board is connected directly to a TRB3-CTS, the board functions as break-out board for some of the CTS input signals, e.g. to allow connecting NIM signals.
A serial RS232-like connection from any hardware to the PC. The board can be plugged on several other peripheral, like the PowerSwitch. Outputs are either 3.3V or 5V, 4 more custom I/O are available as well. Additional plug-ins are available: Isolation with opto-couplers and conversion to real RS232 signals.
The RS232-plugin can be used directly on our Instek power supplies or Huber cooling system (these do not work with a standard USB-to-serial converter)
An active power switch for all 4 - 5.5V powered boards. Each board has two outputs, manual switches, current monitoring and programmable over-current shut-off. The boards can be controlled using a USB-to-serial converter (or any other serial device). Several boards can be chained to an arbitrary number of outputs. Single boards are optionally isolated to other boards in the same chain or share a common power input.
